Opera Mini freezes

I've updated Opera Mini to the latest 8.0 but there is a bug in it. It frequently freezes on my phone for 2-3 seconds which is pretty annoying. My phone is Sony Ericsson Elm and it's a java phone. Kindly, help me.
NOTE: I've downloaded all certificate signed version.

yes it happens frequently in my phone too especially when i am downloading.

It's normal to stall when sync icon is on, basically is the same problem present in mini6 and should be gone landing with 8.1.

I don't use the sync option so it's always turned off. When do you think they will update it to 8.1 to remove bugs?

I don't have such a problem with Elm device, try Opera Mini without certificates as requested from direct download link.

The problem still persists. I deleted the browser and downloaded it again. Now, there is one more problem. It takes too long to open and load. Please, fix it.
