Opera mail : how to view older mails

In Opera\mail\store\account I have all my mails from 2010 january on.But the current view only shows the mails from the last 2 years ( 2014 till now ). How can I retrieve the older ones when needed ? The retrieving does not need to be permanent, but just that I can have a look when needed.

Menu -> settings -> import and export -> import mail -> import generic mbox -> add folder".
Point it to that account folder (or the specific year folder under that account folder).
Then, choose to import into a new account or an existing POP account.
That's the quick fix for it. Sounds like you have some database problems etc., but if you just want to see the messages, that should do it.
