Opera 36 - Copy stops working

This is the 3rd time this happened. At some point of the day the copy function stops working, when I try to copy by highlighting over things with the mouse nothing happens. I think the keyboard highlight worked the last time. The way to resolve it is to shut down and restart Opera. Has anyone else had this issue and know what to do to prevent it from happening again.
