The page in question is http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/1994_articles/oct94/museumsynth.html
Window capture One displays Internet Explorer 8 displaying the page correctly.
Window capture Two displays Opera 12 displaying the page incorrectly.
I do not have Opera 20 installed because I do not like your new bookmarks bar and how you got rid of the bookmarks menu.

Opera 12, 21, and IE11 all display it incorrectly. I suspect there's really something wrong with the page markup.

Well the page appears to display fine in Opera 12.14 and Chromium 31 here on Linux. As in, they both display the page identically (apart from the adverts, as I have AdBlock installed in Opera, but nothing in Chromium), all formatting, paragraph headers, top menu layout etc.

Ok, just checked again, there is one glitch/display problem in both Opera and Chromium, the top part of the report introduction is missing, well, actually it is there, it's just too high up the page and is off screen, so you can just see the bottom half of the letters of the last line of the intro text.

          'COLBECK reports'

Btw, I have larger font sizes set in Opera and Chromiun.

The page renders incorrectly at the top, like Opera 12 and IE 11, in Firefox 28 as well.
