Is there a way to set Google search bar to Google.France

Hello :
I live in France.

I've created "Goodle.fr" in Other Search Engines and assigned the code 'f' to use it in the main search bar.
Entering 'f someword%someotherword' merely takes me to the Google France search page. Then I must enter the search parameters again.

A better solution would be to change the default Google search field in the Startup Page to Google France. How may this be done?
At the moment most of the pages are in English and a lot of the results are in the USA!
