[Solved]How to disable news feed/tiles in speed dial start page

I am on Opera beta, and would like to disable the tiles that generate news articles on my speed dial page. I looked in the settings but didn't see any option for this.
Is there one?

Never mind. Found it in the start/speed dial page settings on the right upper corner. Click that star and then uncheck news.
