How can I customize Opera's start page?

I don't want to use speed dial and I use Google tasks as my new tab page.
I try to find some extensions like New Tab To Tasks but there is no such solution.
Any ideas? -

It does not work well - whenever I start a tab it just immediately close it and start a new tab, which is kind of annoying.

I've been using New Tab Start page Pro https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/new-tab-start-page-pro/?display=en
and it fixed my issues with setting the home page after an Opera update broke the old extension I used to use for this.
