Sometimes you see a link you'd like to visit rendered as text (not with <a> anchor tag).
With the current version of Opera (34), if you select the whole address and right click over it you have an option to "Go to Web Address", which loads the link in the same tab.It would be nice to have a second option to open the link in a new tab.

Your suggestion seems similar to mine which you may find here.
The 'Go to web address' menu item really should open the URL in a new tab, or at least when we hold CTRL. The menu item is pretty much useless in its current form.

Made an account just to post about this. It really bugs me that this is not available. Chrome has a feature that does this too.
