upgrade nagging

How do I cease the constant "upgrade" nagging????? Everytime I close the browser the "Upgrade opera" balloon pops up.
I have Opera 20 and I do not want to upgrade. Stop the damned nagging!
This "bug" is gonna make me stop using your browser and chose another.
I'm a grown damned man. If I click cancel once that should be enough for you to comprehend that NO IS FRIGGING NO!BTW< I know it's "for my own good", but I decide what;s for my own good, not the government and certainly not Opera.

Just use --disable-update command line switch to start it
How do I do that?
Why doesn't a smart programmer just put a settings/options/"uncheck the update" checkbox thing! PITA!

"Search results
Popular topics:
No results matches on search for “command line switch”. Please try refining your keywords.Did you mean: command line switch"
ummmm, yeah Opera. If I didn't mean "command line switch" then I wouldn't have put "command line switch" in the search textbox.
You guys need to find the programmer who designed your search function and slap him across the face with a sausage.
No search results for command line switch - Search for command line switch instead!Geez. What a crew.

Relax dude ^^- Right-click your Opera-shortcut
- Select Properties
- in the Target-field add --disable-update behind "[...]/launcher.exe"

"The name 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera\launcher.exe--disable-update' specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct."

Thanks. I figured it out.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera\launcher.exe" --disable-update
I was putting it in the wrong synthax.

I'm curious if there is official way to control Opera's auto update mechanism, just like the Chrome browser do with enterprise MSI installations?
