      Opera Mini for Android is not connected to internet problem Servers Opera, the problem happens in Opera 7.6.4, Opera Mini 12 and Mini Opera 13 Beta 2.

      The problem also occurs in Opera Browser for Windows 8.1 when Turbo Mode is activated the connection is lost.

      I'm using Opera for over 7 years ago and it makes me uncomfortable having to use another browser, please resolve this connection error

            2. What is your mobile operator?

            3. Do you use mobile connection on your desktop computer?

              3. I'm using mobile internet (away) and ADSL at home.

              I tried on 4 phones using Movistar as the operator and 3 show connection failure.
              Friends using Digitel 4G (another mobile operator) have no connection failures.

                It looks like a general problem with Movistar and I advice you to contact with your mobile operator. As far as I see on Twitter, there are some users who have similar problems. If you think I'm wrong, please let us know.

                If you need temporary workaround for desktop you may try our SurfEasy VPN: https://addons.opera.com/pl/extensions/details/surfeasy-proxy-an-opera-software-company/?display=es

                In Opera Mini for Android you may try to open comperssion settings and change "Protocol" to "HTTP".

                  I could see the problem is the fault of the mobile operators in Venezuela, specifically Movistar.

                  I tried to connect to a VPN on my Android Device and the UDP and TCP ports are blocked. Maybe that's what produces the connection error. I could connect to a VPN using ICMP and Opera Mini works.

                  I will communicate with Movistar but I do not think they do anything to solve it.

                  In the desktop PC using a ADSL connection
                  works Opera Turbo, I will try later SurfVPN.

                  Thank you for your help @mbaluta, If Opera Team can do something to fix this I'd appreciate it.
