Video playback issues

Hello,
I've just went back to using Opera after about 2 years with Firefox, and I like how Opera has evolved but for some reason I experience the following issues related to video playback:Youtube videos play super smooth with the HTML5 player, no rpoblems there, however Facebook videos (especially when HD is turned on) play with stutters, as if I play them on my grandma's cellphone. Additionally, I've noticed that this video (http://www.antenne.de/programm/aktionen/bayern-von-oben/regensburg#mediaplayer-3) won't play in Opera, in my case, it gives me the following error: "Error loading media: File could not be played". The strange thing is that none of these 2 problems is present in Firefox, without having to install or tweak or do anything to my system/programs. On Firefox, that video plays just fine, and so do Facebook videos. Any idea if this is caused by Opera itself and if can be fixed? I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate, 32-bit.
Thanks in advance!

What's your version of Opera?
Have you tried the same in Google Chrome? Same result?

Thanks for taking your time to reply!
I've got the latest version of Opera, namely 33.0.1990.115
As a matter of fact, Chrome is not only able to play that video I mentioned as well as FB videos, but it does it even better/smoother than Firefox.

UPDATE: I've just noticed that Facebook GIFs don't work in Opera either, it says I should update/install Flash player (I have the latest version). But they work flawlessly in Both Chrome and Firefox...

for videos, I've noticed that some won't play (black) if I turn off hardware acceleration from main settings page
