How do you completely screw over somebody by deleting their entire bookmark collection?

I have an opera account, I tried sync and then I accidentally click UPDATE
and you completely destroy 2 years of important bookmarks.

      THANKS SO MUCH
      never using opera again.

IF ONE OF YOU GENIUS' FROM OPERA CAN FIX THIS LET ME KNOW,
OTHERWISE, YOU KNOW WHAT YOU CAN DO.

        Canada - 16 minutes ago

This is the piece of crap that replaced my regular opera. 33.0

WHY DOES YOUR OPERA AUTO UPDATE - UPDATE WITH AN ANCIENT PIECE OF GARBAGE AND GIVE ME A HEART ATTACK..

        unbelievable.

How do you assemble 2 years of important bookmarks and not keep your own backups of such important personal data?

That asked, it might be helpful if you provide a better timeline sequence of details of what you did or were trying to do before and when the problem occurred, beginning with the Opera version and OS you were using at the start, what specific steps you took with it, and what the results were.

Opera doesn't auto-update their new Opera versions (eg: 33) with old Opera versions (eg: 12.16) - the capability's not even built into their systems. If you updated from the old to the new Opera versions, however, your system will still carry the old Opera version unless you've deleted it. So perhaps what you're seeing is not what you think you're seeing...
