Opera 12.17, Spotify Web Player can't connect

Hello,

Spotify webplayer (play.spotify.com)used to work in old opera, now it just keeps spinning and can't connect message while it connects fine in other browsers. Any other Spotify users have the same problem. Any ideas how to fix?

PS. I complained to Spotify and they basically have no idea, told me about clear cache cookies, etc., and of course use another browser like chrome.
