Suddenly Opera cannot check updates due to an error. Event log says it's DNS related issue and points to address autoupdate.geo.opera.com.

So, autoupdate.geo.opera.com DNS-server do not respond.

SOLVED! I was accidentally blocked Opera update on my Firewall. Final post of this topic helped me to solve it.
