Stop address bar autocomplete of web page addresses I've visited.

Hello!
On the address bar, I type in a "w" (for example). It then shows a dropdown with a list all the "w" webpages I have been on and since most start with www, it is a long list.
I want that address bar to be blank, and when I type something in, for it to not try to help me. How do I stop it from doing that? If it can't be turned off, is there a way to start Opera in a mode where it doesn't do that?
AFAIK, I have all the autocomplete options turned off, yet it is still trying to help me when I don't want that help.
Thanks for any info!

Joshl,
It's 32.0.
(I have been searching to see if anyone has a solution, but from what I've read, it seems people have been complaining about it for years (!))
