It would really be nice if Save Sessions was reimplemented. It was such a useful feature.

there is **how to..." on settings page
click settings button on bottom of the sidebar to get to the settings pagebasically, there is a save session button on sidebar and also on toolbar after the address bar... click on it to save session (you can also right click them if you want to save only current window)
you can export/import sessions and rearrange it as you like with drag and drop -

Can the saved session from previous Opera versions be integrated with this session manager? Currently they are access through Saved Bookmarks.

not sure what you meant by "fast forward"...
about Presto sessions... No, you cant import them...at least not yet.
I already had such a feature request, and I'm planning to implement it
...but I just don't have time right now -

Does the V7sessions save an entire session....if I had 3 windows open with several tabs each and it crashes on me, will it restore all 3 windows and all tabs?
I've not loaded Opera yet, still checking it out. Just so sick of firefox continually crashing on me.
I also read Opera was put up for sale, does that mean it may go away or change?
Thanks -

no, for that I need to maintain list of tabs constantly,
it's not a big thing but constant saving list of tabs is overkill for such a extension
the only way to save session is when user invoke it by clicking on button (on sidebar or toolbar)
Opera should provide restoring tabs after crashabout Opera put up for sale...I really don't know
but even if someone buys Opera, I doubt it will ditch user base of 50 mil ppl (desktop) -

Fast Forward was a feature in the old Opera where a user can easily move from one picture to another (without closing and clicking on the next one) on those websites where multiple pictures are posted.

@lseeber
I just implemented simple auto-sessions in version 2.9
it was requested from many users
if you enable it in settings, you can access list of tabs that were active when browser was closed in previous session
it starts when you enable it ofc, so you will have it next time when browser starts
