Remove Opera app from BACK and HOME button

how can i remove the Opera app from the BACK button and the HOME button? it's getting annoying when sometime i'm slow and hold it for 1 second by mistake or undo from pressing button. it is increasing stress.
my friend told me that it is possible to remove Opera app from software keys on Cyanogenmod roms but my device is running stock rom and i don't want Cyanogenmod roms or xposed framework mod.

Clear the deafaut settings in app manager of Android, the next time you do that you will see google app and opera as options.

i have cleared default settings but the white circle without opera icon still appear. i want it completely removed.

Choose another app to replace Opera in that function.
I guess he doesn't have any. His GApps package probably doesn't include the Google (search/assistant) Now app.

There might be no way to remove it, unless your ROM provides an option for it. This spot will always have something, either Google Now (or Cortana, or similar) and in this case Opera, you can only replace it with something else but not remove it.

thanks. the assistant app helped. i don't understand why they don't add an option to disable it and don't make android phone friendly. that's why my mom bought a windows phone.
