Graphical Bookmark Manager

How do I disable the graphical bookmark manager?
In chrome they disabled it by default, but also have the option to do it via flags (chrome://flags), this is not possible in Opera.
The graphical bookmark manager is broken and abysmal, I'd like to know how to disable it. -

To my knowledge there is no way to do that in Opera as there is nothing to replace it. You could just set it to list view. That way the icon would be much smaller.

How would I go about doing that, setting it to list view?

Also it's not about the icons really, it's about sorting. The sorting when adding new bookmarks is terrible, it dooesn't list the book mark bar as an option and I can not browse into folders when adding bookmarks. This is a huge fail on operas part. At least in chrome I was able to sort the bookmarks properly when they used the graphical bookmark manager.

Just for the sake of saying it... In Opera beta version 32, the folder tree in the bookmarks has the little arrow on the left, that you can expand the folder like windows explorer. I accidentaly saw it 10 minutes ago, and I already made a few aragements on the bookmarks, hoping it will sync to my stable v30. It really makes difference

Thanks, that's good to know. I'll wait for the v32 update and test it out then.

To enable list view just click the icons at the top of the bookmarks manager near the middle. Its between the search box and the word 'Bookmarks'.
