did Opera started to support chrome.storage.sync?
I don't see errors anymore like before when testing it....edit: but also, nothing is synced

What do you mean? chrome.storage.sync is supported and it save permanent data like on chrome. I used it on my extension with no problem

I don't know the limit of byte you can store but it work perfectly. You can easly save and object with a value, close and reopen the browser and the values is still here.

yea, but does it sync?
the main purpose of storage.sync is to synchronize stored data,
and if it doesn't ...there are other/better solutions -

It doesn't sync with other pc, depend of what you have to do to choice the solutions
