Opera updates constantly bring back Google as the default search engine

Hi,
I am using Opera beta and like to use DuckDuckGo as search engine but each time I make an update the default one is set back to Google. I hate Google and find it very annoying to see it coming back (from the dead ^^) constantly (like a zombie).
Keep working hard to give us the best web browser. Thanks
