Issues with self-signed SSL certs

I keep having issues with self-signed certificates in Opera. In case I want to add it as a permanent exception Opera freezes my OS X systems programs. If I click on show certificate and tick the "always accept" the admin login will pop up but it is not possible to enter the password or close the dialog. I tried to close it using the activity app but freezes right away. The only way to get the system running agin is doing a restart.
I added the ssl cert to my key chain manually and set it to always trust. But Opera keeps asking me if I want to trust the cert. In case I want to make a permanent exception see above.
Using Safari (started for the first time here, cert was added to key chain before) the cert got accepted without asking. Also FF works fine.So what am I doing wrong here? How can I make Opera to accept my cert? If I go through Setting->HTTPS/SSL key chain opens an I can see that my cert is permanently accepted...

I keep having this issue. Also on Windows and Opera Mini. Is it not possible to use Self Signed Certificates with Opera?

I am really astonished that I am the only one having this issue. Does no one else use self-signed certificates?

I used "Remember certificate error decisions" in opera:flags, but that option not availible anymore. ;_;
