Hi, I'm getting and error when attempting to install and run Opera 30 on my slackware64 14.1. I'm extracting the data.tar and copying over the files to the correct directories where Opera 29 was installed. When attempting to execute I get the following error:
"opera: symbol lookup error: opera: undefined symbol:g_type_class_adjust_private_offset"Installed glibc version 2.36.4. I do not get this error with Opera 29. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi, we're aware of this (a dependency on our build servers was incorrectly changed, meaning that distros with older packages can't run our binary anymore). This will be fixed in the next stable update, which should be any time now :).
In the meantime, you can try using Opera Beta (see http://blogs.opera.com/desktop) or reverting to Opera 29.
