Change search engine in speed dial

Is there any way to change the search engine in speed dial from Google to DuckDuckGo? I have tried to look everywhere and searched the web, all I got was old solutions for old versions of Opera.

No, but you can disable it if you like. If you have Power User mode enabled you will find 'Hide the search box in Speed Dial' in settings.
