Opera 30 for Android Starts and Runs After Initial Install, Then Immediately Crashes on Next Startup

I downloaded the Generic version of Opera 30 from the Opera website because I do not have native access to the Google Play Store. I am running a Blackberry Passport, 10.3 Operating System. The new Blackberry operating system now runs Android Apps in addition to Blackberry Apps. I have about 15 other Android Apps running on my Blackberry and they work fine.
I saw in earlier posts that there was a problem with Opera starting and immediately crashing which is what's happening here. My initial startup of Opera worked fine. I even setup the configuration and signed into Sync. All was working well in the initial start, however, I haven't been able to get Opera started since then. I just get a quick blink of a white screen and then it closes.
Any assistance in getting my favorite browser working would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
Could you try clearing the data for Opera (not sure how this is done on Blackberry) and try browsing without enabling sync for a while and see if you still get the same problem. If that is the case we will have to look at why sync behaves this way on Blackberry devices.
Do you have any other Opera browser signed in to sync, like Opera for Desktop or the new Opera Mini?

Thank you for your quick response.
I did clear the data for Opera on my Blackberry Passport, in fact I deleted the app, all the data and reinstalled the Generic version of Opera for Android. I then started Opera for the first time and visited several sites and everything worked fine. Then I closed the browser. I did not sign in to sync.
The second time I attempted to start Opera, the white screen came up for a couple of seconds and then closed. I tried starting the browser several times after that and I always got the white screen for a couple of seconds and then it would shut down the browser. All my other apps work so it's not crashing the phone.
I also installed the Generic Opera Mini browser to see what would happen. The result was exactly the same as with the Opera for Android browser. Everything worked fine and I visited several websites on the initial startup. Then, on the second attempt to start Opera Mini, I got the white screen for a couple of seconds and then it shut down the browser and would not restart. Each time I tried to open the browser, it just showed the white screen for a few seconds and shut down again. Again, I did not sign in to sync.
I do have my Linux Desktop Opera browser signed in to Opera sync. However, I did not sign in to sync this time when attempting to install these two mobile browsers. So, there was no mobile browser connection to sync this time. I'm not sure what else I can do.
Thank you for your time.
