Opera 'Not Responding'

  • Anybody else experiencing sluggish behavior and 'not responding' messages? The browser has become almost unusable over the past hour or so. I assumed it was updating behind the scenes, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Just wondering if it's on their end or mine.

  • Open you Opera profile folder (its location can be found in the About Opera page), find the three files that begin with the word 'session' and delete them. This will clear any tabs you had open when you closed the browser but should correct the issue.

  • The issue cleared up on its own. It was doing something in the background, I just don't know what.

  • I seem to have seen a recent topic with essentially the exact title as this one has...
