Wrong favicon appearing for web site

Hello!
I'm having a relatively minor issue that I have been unable to find any answer to anywhere, even after countless Google searches. Therefore I've decided to try to make a post here and see if anyone has a solution.
(I'm currently using build 36.0.2130.65 on Windows 10, but this issue has persisted through many versions.)
The issue can be a bit hard to describe, but I'll do my best: The site in question does not have its own favicon (i.e. when adding it to the bookmarks bar, the only icon that is supposed to show up is the default gray/black "square"). However, a while ago I logged into a WiFi in a hotel where I had to go to a separate web site to perform an authentication. I had the web site in question open in its own tab in Opera. After I had finished the authentication, the other web site had "adopted" the favicon from the hotel authentication site. I assumed it would go back to normal when I restarted Opera and reloaded the web site, but this did not happen. This means I'm now stuck with a web site with a "false" favicon.
This is a minor issue, I know, but it's a bit annoying not to be able to fix it. The closest I have come to finding a solution is to delete the favicon.ico file and open every web site in my bookmarks bar one by one to manually reload all favicons. I have quite a lot of bookmarks, however, so I was hoping there might be a simpler solution to this problem?
Thanks in advance, have a great day!

I'll try a little "bump" here...
Hoping for a solution to this, I'm sure I can't be the only one out there who has experienced something like this...?
