Can we get uninterrupted media playback back please?

For the longest time, when playing media through Opera, it would NOT pause for a notification sound. Now all of a sudden it does. And it's awful.
This is why I was USING Opera! I was trying to watch a two minute Youtube video, and my friend sending me messages added thirty seconds to the video with all the pauses, and the pauses are a terrible way to watch a video.
These interruptions are a feature that MUST go. Or at the very least, be an option like in all the music apps. It is unbearable to use Opera for multimedia playback until this is corrected.
Please fix this soon.

I don't know what's up with messages but media playback is chunked using 3g bandwidth and Opera Max. More common to Nexus devices rather than chinese MTK. If that helps, with latest Chrome browser Opera Max doesn't save much and/or is x2 times slower than Opera on Nexus 7 tablet.

I wanted to add that watching a video on Opera pauses/ends music playback from other sources - such as my PowerAMP. This becomes a huge problem with the advent of .gifv, as these silent video clips end your music playback.
This is a cause of the change to how Opera handles video and music playback. It needs to be reverted to how it was previously handled. This is a MAJOR ISSUE with the browser.
