Share menu: is there any sort order?

Hi,

I'm just wondering if there is any logic whatsoever, in which order the items in the share menu are shown? It's neither alphabetic, nor based on usage and for example the first entry is "SMS/MMS" which opens the stock SMS application even though I've set Hangouts as standard SMS app, that is listed in third position.

@luzandro, you know I've never really thought about that until I read your post even though I've used share several times. Looks like it's just in the order the system enumerates the services. It should have a better starting order and should rank it based on previous usage. I've entered an issue in our issue tracker (WAM-5915).

It seems really minor but it amounts to three swipes of the thumb that really slow the sharing process.

Let's go guys! Should be easy to automatically set the order of sharing options based upon frequency of use.

Or if not, make it a preference. Even Chrome mobile lets users chose sharing option of choice...
