Opera Mail for Mac doesn't restart after a crash, even after the backup

Hello.
A few minutes ago my Opera Mail for Mac crashed while I was writing an email. I restarted it, and it was fine. Then I closed it, and realized there was another Opera Mail process running without UI. I killed it. At this point Opera Mail didn't restart: it bounces for a while in the dock, then it stops bouncing, I can see the icon in the "Force Quit Applications", but the UI doesn't appear.
I wasn't worried as I had a complete backup of my system made a few hours ago. The idea was to restore it and then import the mails from today. Unfortunately, after having restored all the files, the behaviour didn't change.
What should I do?
Opera Mail for mac 1.0, Mac OS X 10.9.5.

You can try deleting Opera's autosave.win. If that doesn't work, try renaming operaprefs.ini so Opera creates a new one. If that doesn't work, try reinstalling just the Opera Mail program files.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the application worked. It's a bit scary, though.
