Do you have Google Chrome installed on your system?
If not, it's almost certainly because Opera is being detected as a Chrome-based browser, which it is of course.

I have IE11, Chrome, Firefox and Opera. The issue is the Webex plug-in installer hangs.

Well, not all things made for Chrome are compatible with Opera. If that plugin doesn't specifically support Opera that might be the source of the problem.

Because Opera and Chrome share a renderer and thats it. Opera isn't made to be 100% compatible with Chrome and its never advertised itself as such.

I have the same problem as jbruns2015.
Step 1 of 2: Add WebEx to Chrome
Noting ever happens and WebEx won't load. I have to use Chrome, FF, or IE to use WebEx. This is a fairly common portal for web conferences. I would hope it could be addressed.

Same here. I am planning to move to Opera on Windows (work) and Linux (work and home) and this is preventing me from doing so. Until this issue is fixed, I will stick with Firefox.

This is not an Opera issue, this is a WebEx issue. They are the people you need to talk to to add support to Opera.

Is there any way (workaround?) to make Opera compatible with WebEx? I'd love to ditch Chrome, but this is preventing me from doing so!

Take a look at this post: http://www.condition-alpha.com/blog/?p=1268
It walks you through installing the Chrome Store plugin and then installing the WebEx extension for Chrome via the Chrome Store.

Thank you very much chris1319.
This worked very well for getting Webex to work with Opera on Mac.
Also I love having the Chrome store plugin so I can get additional Chrome extensions for Opera!
