Back in the day you could right click on a URL and select to open that URL and if you held the CTRL button down while doing so it would open it in a new tab. That was a very nice feature and I miss it. I'm pretty sure there's an extension or two that will do this for me but, frankly, I have enough of those installed already and this really was a nice feature to have installed natively.

Yes. Exactly that. Often links are not automatically hyperlinked. I can right click and open but it opens in the same tab. I used to be able to press CTRL during that process and it would open in a new tab. That hasn't been an option in a long time now. I was kind of hoping it would return but it didn't so I thought I'd mention it. I kind of miss that feature.

I need this feature too, like in good old Opera Presto! Because now I have to be keyboard jedy: after select text with mouse I press Ctrl+C, then Ctrl+T, then Ctrl+V and finally Enter.

Not only links, but even if you want to search for something in your search providers. You should be able to:
- Click: Open in current tab
- CTRL+Click: Open in background tab + Context menu should stay for you, to be able to search also in another search providers
- CTRL+Shift+Click: Open in foreground tab
But I dont think developers will implement it...
