Google Hangout Out of The Box

Hello,
Google Hangout works on Google Chrome with no need of any Plug In by using WebRTC.
Now, since Opera using Chromium engine, I was expecting Google Hangout to work on it out of the box.Yet I tried it yesterday and it seems it requires Google Hangout Plug In in order to work.
Can it be fixed and we can have the same experience on Opera as well?
Thank You.

Opera and Chrome share a rending engine. There are many things they do not share. Built in Hangouts support is one of them.

Hmm, I tested the Hangouts site with Opera 32 and it let me in and noodle around without asking for a plugin so, I don't know what to tell you. What version of Opera are you using?

Do you have Google Talk / Google Hangout Plug In pre installed?
Have a loog at the Plug In page in Opera. -

I have no such plugin installed. In fact I'm only running 4: Silverlight (how did that get in there?), Adobe Flash Player, Chrome PDF Viewer, and Widevine Content Decryption Module.

Really,
So now it is a real mystery.I hope someone who knows will jump in to clarify things.
I was expecting it to work.
I checked it on 2 Windows 10 computers and it didn't (Asked for a Plug In).Can you also share screen?
Could you try Disable the Flash Plug In and see if it still works?Thank You.
