How to lock Speed dial items?

Is there a way to lock the Speed dial items, so that I couldn't accidentally remove some item by pressing cross icon?

Not at the moment, although it would be a good idea.
Some people say that they keep moving the tiles accidentally!

I've removed Twitter Notifications speed dial extension several times already... The icon cross icon is too big and too easy to hit. But anyway locking the tiles would be better.
