Incapability to save page that's been opened through search engine

If page is opened through search engine, "plus" button on the left of address bar is being replaced by "search" button, which isn't clickable, so you can't save page or add it to bookmarks.
The only workaround of this flaw is to somehow enter the page without using a search engine. Refreshing or going "back-forward" doesn't help - "search" button still remains in this cases.
I'm using Opera 28.0.1764.9038 on Android 5.0 (firmware 20h on LG G3)

You mean you want to bookmark for example the search results of a google search? It's a pretty narrow use case IMO, but you can always go "add speeddial" and select it from the history entries if you really want it.

I almost bever use bookmarks but I often save pages. Thanks for the workaround, but the problem is still remains. Will you fix it, or it is a "very minor bug"?

It's by design in this way, is not a bug. The omnibox has autocomplete, history provider function, suggestions and stuff so it's pretty much in line with Chrome specifications. For me it will be useful the default URL suggestion (history) on top rather than history backbone. Also I got the filling (dunno why) of history shortage, I know that a page should be in history but it ain't.

What's the point in changing active "plus" button to inactive "search" button?
Suggestions and autofilling works fine without changing a button, so I personally don't see a point in it. It's not strictly a bug, I agree, but it's certainly unnecessary

You can open again the same Google Search URL from history and + sign is there as for any fresh page opened (full URL) instead G websearch field.

I understood and tried that. I don't understand WHY I should use this workaround at all, considering that there's no profit from changing the button (may be visual only).
But I also understand that it's a pretty narrow use case, and, as I can see, there will be no changes in this behavior. So thanks for your participaion, guys
