2 weeks ago I left the stable version and go for beta because of change the speed dial icons (before it looks like metro style - not real preview) and yesterday mine opera beta 27 update to 28 and everything it's ruined again.. how to setting this preview of pages? Cause this screenshots looks ugly. Can't find it anywhere in setting - once it was available in opera 26 sstable i think.

Seems like it's disabled in this version.
Though you can try to enable this flag: opera://flags/#experimental-start-page
