Saying Good-bye

I've been a member of the Opera forums since 2003 and now the time has come to say good-bye. I enjoyed the old community (My Opera) with its blogs and forums and wanted to publicly thank Opera for providing it along with the technical support which continues on to this day via this forum. But it's apparent to me at least that I'm not of much help anymore given the fact that the new browser is new to me as well and there are plenty in this forum far better versed at helping people than I. Besides, I have a tendency to become defensive on Opera's behalf and in general this leads to arguments which are not good for the community. So with that I'll deactivate this account and wish you all a wonderful new year ahead.

blackbird71 last edited byI, for one, regret your decision to deactivate. :awww: Though we haven't always agreed on various things, I've strongly felt your perspective has on many occasions served to rein in many of the more nonsensical or critical postings. But I also do understand that one has to seek their own peace of mind, and forum involvement can at times definitely impact that. In any case, may God bless you richly in the days going forward... and perhaps we'll meet again on some other forum.
