Opera is swallowing more and more RAM

Seriously, I changed from Chrome to Opera because Opera is lighter, but now Opera is as slow as Chrome. My PC only has 1 Gb RAM, and Opera is using 1.5 Gb.

Agree!, the "option" is to reduce number of speedDial icons
