Same here and am fed up. I don't know how to take screen shot. But have been getting Adobe Reader is Out Of Date.
No it is not, it's Up To Date. Latest link I tried http://library.wayne.edu/resources/digital/audio/Carson_Interview.pdf and like all I try to view in PDF I get this idiotic message.
I have to go to Firefox to view and you can view it via Firefox Browser. This is an Opera Only problem.

It just has a plain grey page with a circle with dash going through it and say's Adobe Reader Is Out Of Date.
But not out of date. PDF links can be viewed via Firefox Browser. Hope they fix this ASAP. Been going on now since they updated to 26.

For the time being type "opera:plugins" into address bar, hit enter and disable Adobe Reader there.
Opera ships with its own internal PDF viewer (called "Chrome PDF Viewer" - make sure it's enabled) and that one works (this isn't meant to be advertising for Opera's internal viewer, but enables you to see PDFs right now again until this issue gets sorted out) :ninja:btw: you are all on Win XP or Vista, correct?

Disable Adobe Reader
Version: 11.0.8.4
Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape 11.0.8I don't get it. I should disable Plug-In for Firefox because it should say disable Adobe PDF Plug-In For Opera but that isn't listed.
Yes I'm on XP but again don't have any problems viewing PDF on Firefox. Will doing this mess up Firefox? I'm a ittle confused here.

Went to Firefox and news video played fine. Now what do we have to disable?
I've had it with Opera.

Thanks Christoph142 - Your fix worked for Opera 26 with Win 8.1 too. Anyone know why we all had the problem?

christoph142's solution also worked at my side. Using Windows 7 Professional.
