Emoticons on edits?

Anyone else finding that when editing an existing post, it's impossible to add an emoticon from the usual dialogue?
Clicking on the top right icon to bring it up does nothing.
You can still put them in by typing their equivalent text.

Dave, I guess it's just part of the overall "edit" inconsistency: like how the page looks like upon submitting the edit...

Probably related to it yes, but it doesn't come good on refreshing the page, which most things do.
