Blurry close tab cross drives me mad.

Hi. Just migrated from opera 12.
It drives me mad that on tabs bar half of the tab is blurred because of tab closing cross-button blurring. In opera 12 this button was invisible and was shown only when mouseover it. I wonder whether it can be changed in some way so that this cross button would not be shown.
Can anyone help me?Current opera version 24.0.1558.64

You can't disable/hide this close X in Opera 25 and Chromium.
May be a minimalist theme could do this in future, but themes for Opera Stable are not ready.
