Advanced options

I was wondering if there's any development plan to include advanced options like were included with Opera 12 in new versions? It would be really useful to control cache size, visual aspects, number of connections, disabling autoupdate, etc. all in the GUI instead of having to use obscure command-line synatax or difficult to understand flags...
Thanks

User customizations have historically been a great strength of Opera and where IE, chrome (and firefox, but less so) seem to really lag. Although now with using Chromium, Opera seems to have eliminated a lot of user choice in customizing settings, visualizations, etc. and it would be good to restore that functionality in an easy-to-use format. A lot of settings can be unlocked now that are already available in other forms in the browser, but I don't understand why they havent' been....

This question gets asked time and time again but well done at least for asking in a calm way and not calling Opera names.
User customizations have historically been a great strength of Opera...
Whilst webpage rendering until Opera 15 had historically been plagued with problems.

a similar issue is not being able to delete default search engines or easily add new ones and make them default. regardless of sponsorship from different search engines to ship with opera, i think users should still have choice to remove or which ones to use.
