How can I get rid of this annoying pop-up?! It was never there before this weekend past and I do not want to see this! I've tried to figure out how to manage my settings in order to disable it -- but to no avail. VERY ANNOYING!

Have you got 'Opera Turbo' enabled by any chance (O-Menu / Opera Turbo) ?. Remove the tick if so.
