Hi,
in Firefox exists an add-on fireFTP to upload and download data.
In Opera I did not found anything to do this.
How do Opera-Users Up- and downloading? -

I'm simply using Windows Explorer, which is perfectly capable of FTP.
There are other helpful applications like Swish that enables you to also use SFTP right in Windows Explorer. -

Windows Explorer is not working with FTPS (FTP and SSL/TLS).

OP didn't ask for FTPS. But you're right about this of course

A FTP client without SSL is not perfectly, may be in Windows 95 times.
Yes, i talked about FTPS because FTP without SSL is not useful. Sending logins over unecrypted connection, ... no, huuhhh!
In 2014 https exists for secure connects/logins on HTTP protocol and therefore FTP should have it too.
