      Hi,

I want find the "Hight Contrast" mode in Opera, the user documentation points to "View > Style: High Contrast". However the View menu is non existent and the big "O" menu doesn't include "View" or "Style", and Advanced Settings only opens two checkboxes that are completely unrelated.

      Opera Version: 23.0.1522.77
      Windows 8.1 64-bit

You are looking at information about Opera prior to version 15, which is a completely different browser.
There are no such options in the current versions at present I'm afraid.
        🙂

Thanks for the info Dave, that's somehow disappointing.

I found a solution digging through the forums.

Installing the Stylish Extension with a dark global theme such as this:
            https://userstyles.org/styles/2187/myfavolours-global-custom-color-scheme

It works exactly as the old High Contrast mode 🙂

For some reason the style freezes flash in Youtube, the solution is to add an exception in the style editor: Drop-down menu > Urls matching the regexp > (?!https://[^.]+.youtube.com).*

And to make Youtube dark, Dark Skin extension:
              https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/dark-skin-for-youtube/?display=en
