There's only Speed Dial.
You can select Add to Speed Dial from the O-menu (or from the plus button in the address field if you're not in the tablet mode layout) then drag and drop the icon over another to create folders (but not sub-folders). This is all the bookmarking functionality Opera for Android offers right now.

I've found Bookmarks to be a major problem in Opera for Android that makes it difficult to use and likely limits many from using it as their standard browser.
The ability to store bookmarks in a list and folder structure like all the other browsers (basically like on the desktop) would be much better instead of large icons. Large icons makes it difficult to actually see the bookmark title, especially on small screens. Couldn't the code be simply reused from the other Opera Android browser?
Syncing with chrome or Google Bookmarks would really help and let more people switch over to Opera as their main browser.

The point is the initial vision for the new Opera was that Speed Dial could replace bookmarks completely, even the desktop version (Opera 15) came out without native bookmarks support. And code couldn't be reused anyway because of the jump from Presto to the Chromium framework.
Anyway, in the desktop version they're re-implementing classic bookmarks back (there's already a bar and a full bookmarks manager is coming).About synchronizing with a Google Chrome's bookmarks sync, I'm not sure the two companies are open to share their users' data (questions of [servers] where the data is stored, privacy policy concerns, etc). But when Opera's own sync comes to desktop and mobile you'd be able to import the bookmarks from Chrome in the desktop to Opera and sync (or with root access one could play with moving the file manually to the phone and see if the bookmarks are loaded [or by having them previously imported to the Speed Dial it's a given]).

I don't think that an official statement was disclosed regarding Opera Link features, anybody with 7 eyes skills got some tweets related?

What do you mean, what Link features? You need a statement when what I said is pretty much obvious / most likely?

With the same bon ton pretty obvious is that all opera data accounts can't be managed on a single vault. All users around the world to sync bookmarks stored for 'safe keeping' on some servers located in Sweden or Norway doesn't have any sense at all, can't be done. Cloud-based
services could be safe, far from Google I would say. I would bet on Facebook, not those who own, the ones who serve methinks. Depending on which side it is at a given moment as business solution Opera may have a vault to sell. Sound awkward but is the plain true and can be done playing smart. For me that's obvious.
