Opera Mail - disable "check spelling"

Hello,
I'm starting to use opera mail. I know i can disable "check spelling" when composing a message, by clicking with the mouse right button, but is it possible to disable it permanently?

In operaprefs.ini in the preferences folder, set Spellcheck enabled by default=0 under [Users Prefs] (while Opera is closed).
Also, see this page (save it locally and then load it if you're not using Opera 12 for a browser). That will show you how to add opera:config back as the setting is in there.

Thank you very much, burnout - and sorry for taking a week for replying. My operaprefs.ini was in another folder, but I found it and it worked.
Just to make it clear for anyone else with the same problem: I'm using opera mail portable, and the "operaprefs.ini" file I had to edit was in the "/Data/profile/" folder - I just added the line "Spellcheck enabled by default=0" to the [User Prefs] section, as indicated above.As for the link you sent, it says:

Opera Mail is just Opera 12.16 with most of the browser stuff removed. Unfortunately, when they removed browser stuff, they removed opera:config too, even though it's required for Mail.
The directions for adding opera:config back in are just some hack to work around Opera's blocking of navigation to opera:config. In this case, modifying a help file to redirect to opera:config gets around Opera's blocking of opera:config. Normally, opera:config would have nothing to do with a help file.

There is no such line as Spellcheck enabled by default=1 in the operafrefs.ini file! Simply copy and paste Spellcheck enabled by default=0 into the operprefs.ini file
