Can't uninstall old version of Opera

I have an older version of Opera that won't uninstall. It's version 10.53.
Error message says I need file Opera_1053_int_setup.msi
When I try and install that same version, in hopes of uninstalling it again, it says I can't do that.
Any idea where to obtain this file?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you try to reinstall it, it probably unpacks Opera_1053_int_setup.msi into a temporary folder.
Don't close the installer, and search your system for that file.
If you find it, copy and paste it to a folder where you can easily find it again (e.g. C:).
Then close the installer, and try to uninstall again.
When it says it can't find the file, it should give you the opportunity to browse for it.
Browse to where you saved the file, and say OK, and with a bit of luck the uninstallation should then complete.

Thanks, I didn't realise that file was actually available for download!
If the OP saves that somewhere and browses for it when the installer asks for it, it should uninstall OK.
I've had this happen with other programs that use the MS Installer, and it has always resolved it.

i find it easiest to just reinstall it and then uninstall it. the reinstall will hopefully fix whatever is corrupted.
