Will Opera ever allow Startpage or DuckDuckGo to be default search engines?

I am curious if anyone else would like to initiate their own choice for a search provider as their default search engine rather than the lame choices (IMHO) that are now offered? The 2 I mentioned are very secure so what is opera's issue to allow this choice like they used to before google $$$$ took this choice away (IMHO)?

Wrong sub-forum and duplicate subject anyway.

Google didn't take any choice away. Yahoo!, Bing, Yandex and Baidu can be easily set as default while there are workarounds for others.
