Opera stops downloads when being closed

Hi,

is there any way to prevent Opera from stopping active downloads when closing the browser? In previous versions Opera was telling me that there are active downloads and asked me if I really wanted to close the browser?

Yes, until Opera implements this, you can use Download Control

Thanks for the advice. It's not working though.

I installed and setup the extension and made sure the settings are correct. But I can still close the browser while downloading.

I really don't understand why Opera would remove that feature...

Which version of Opera are you using?
Browser closing prevention should work (and it does for me) without you setting up anything.
