It's been a year now

All i can say is WTH. It's been a year since the launch of Opera 15. I'm currently typing this on developer version 24 and still links won't open in a new tab when using the downward mouse gesture. I've patiently used Opera 12 because the newer versions are missing a couple of extremely vital features like the one i mentioned. But Opera 12 is starting to be outdated. Some sites work really slowly with it. I don't think i can use it for very long.
I'm asking you to bring back these very important features:
-- Opening links in a new tab with a mouse gesture
-- Scrolling through tabs with Mouse2 + Scroll wheel
-- Give us the possibility to change tab switch order so it will cycle through the latest active tabs instead of just cycling through them in order.
Also i'd very much like to see these features:
-- Recently closed tabs -menu in the upper right corner
-- Opening menu with F12 to quickly disable animated img's / plugins / javascript
-- Quickly editing site-preferences by right clicking on the website and choosing "Edit site preferences"
-- How about letting us customize mouse gestures?

If you have a suggestion or request, you are better off posting it the 'Suggestion Box'.

For this I use long time middle mouse button press. Works almost everywhere, also in other browsers. Except MS Sharepoint portal as I know.

Use this link for Experiments - Tab Cycling -
"opera://flags/#activation-order-tab-cycling"
. Set it to Enabled( Why site doesn't allow to use Opera's own Links? )
-- Quickly editing site-preferences by right clicking on the website and choosing "Edit site preferences"
Even when I'm not protagonist to use extensions for every simple functionality (that can be in core), you can use as for now as workaround this extension Site-specific Preferences.

for costumized mouse gestures I use "Download Chrome Extension" and "Smooth Gestures" for Chrome.
It's a work-around but it does the trick.
for most of the other things you will also find extensions to make them work again.
I'm on opera 23 and with quite some extensions it's almost like opera 12
